We went there about SIX times!  Most highly recommendable!  It’s located in the Var.  The Var is less touristy than the Luberon or the  Vaucluse, and way more beautiful in my humble opinion.

Armelle and Guillaume are wonderful people.  You’ll really like them.  Armelle speaks English, and she knows German as well.

Their “mas” lives in the middle of their vinyards.  It’s gorgeous.

When you love to walk, hike and you are in need of an enjoyable quiet time… this is the place to go.  They even have an outside pool!

Besides B&B’s, they also have two awesome gites available.

What is a “gite”?

A gite is like an appartement, you can rent per week.  You have all the necessary house appliances available, such as a stove top, an oven, a laundry machine, etcetera.  It’s great if you want to go on vacation with your children, and perhaps with a dog, if they allow you to take him or her (the dog, I mean) with you.  No need to go out for dinner every night.  It will be your home for a week or two, or three, or four, or…

At Saint-Ferreol, they have two gites available.

One is in an old watermill from the 16′s century.   It’s perfect for a family with two children, or a company of four adults.  I love the watermill!

The other one, occupies a part of the “mas”.  This one is grand as well!  If you want to bring older children along with you, then Armelle will agree with me to rather rent the watermill. The watermill has two separate bedrooms!  The gite at the Mas, the children sleep downstairs, and the parents up the stairwell.

There are a lot of wonderful things to see in that area!

The B&B rooms are terrific too!
